Silver Sunday

Welcome to my contribution to the Silver Sunday party graciously hosted by Beth @ Gypsy Fish.  This party is a great opportunity see some beautiful and unique silver pieces.  Link back to Beth's blog and you can check out all of the beautiful silver being shown.

Vintage silver alarm clocks, tarnished silver framed photos and the silver blades of an old desktop fan remind us of earlier times.

This is a picture of my Dad in 1946.

And this picture is of my FIL and MIL (couple on the left) with my MIL's sister and her husband on the shore of Lake Erie in the early 1950's.  My MIL will be celebrating her 85th birthday in April.

Time to go (I couldn't resist)

I LOVE your clock collection. I too collect vintage clocks. I odnt know what it is, but in those faces-there is so much character. You have a wonderful collection. BUt it was the photograph of the fouron the shore of Lake Erie in the early 1950's that really caught my eye. So clear and priceless! Wonderful.

  19. I wonder if we will ever get chocolate Cheerios on this side of the world? My kids would probably go for those. Your vintage silver clocks are so great. Love the Friday photo in your previous post! We have been getting cool sunsets like that even though there is no winter weather around here. Your son takes fantastic photos! You always come up with the coolest ideas for old items -- so much can be done with old rulers. Who would have thought? Certainly not be. You are always inspiring! Hope that things are going well with your husband. Take care and have a great Sunday. Peace & blessings, Tammy
