Graduation Preparation

First I want to say a big "Thank You" to all of you for your concerns about my eye.  The ulcer is almost completely healed and I am feeling much better.  The most difficult thing to endure the past couple of weeks was the sensitivity my eyes had to light.  I spent a lot of time in my house either with my eyes closed or with sunglasses on.  As I mentioned in my post a couple of weeks ago, looking at a computer monitor was nearly impossible so I have a lot of blog catching up to do now that things are pretty much back to normal.

With that being said I am going to be a little bit more limited posting on my blog for the next couple of weeks.  My son is graduating from high school on May 12th and the next couple of weeks are going to be pretty hectic.  This week is his last week of school and we have banquets, award ceremonies and one last band concert to attend in the evenings this week.  Family starts coming in next week and we'll wrap everything up with a big party on the 14th!

I hate to post without a picture so here's a couple of photos of my soon-to-be graduate.  The first one is his first day of Kindergarten in the fall of 1997 and the second one was just a couple of weeks ago before he left for Prom.  I had to laugh when I compared the two pictures.....he still likes to stand with his hands in his pockets!

Enjoy your week.

Jane

  7. Hi Jane! I'm so glad your feeling better! I love the pictures of your son, so adorable as a kindergartener and now a handsome young man. You are getting better just in time to be crazy busy! Graduation for us is June 7 and the parties not until the 26th so I have a little time. I have been trying to do a little bit here and there to get ready but Cam drove home from school wearing his cap last week and it caught me off guard. Lets just say I had to compose myself before I told him hello. Where does the time go? Good luck with yours, and am so glad your on the mend, Theresa
