As I was cleaning my studio tonight I noticed all of the various shades of whites in the vintage objects and collections that I have displayed in the room. I have always enjoyed the White Wednesday party that Kathleen @ Faded Charm hosts each week but I have never participated. So tonight I thought I would join in and share some of my vintage whites.
Happy White Wednesday!

Beautiful, Jane! Looks like someone is getting all organized for Where Bloggers Create...Can't wait to see what you've done.

ReplyDeleteGreat Inspirational Whites....Come on over for a visit sometime. I too, Love lots of vintage whites!
ReplyDeleteHey Jean! What neat little niches and containers you have! Love the way you have your lace organized too:) Happy White Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane! Your photos are gorgeous, so artsy! You just reminded me that I want to get some paint stirrers for my trim! Thanks! I just think that is such a great idea, mine are all wadded up in a basket (or 2, or 3) right now so I can't even see what I have. Wonderful post, I gotta look around and see what I will post for WW, better get moving! Theresa
ReplyDeleteI have to laugh every time I see all your string. Shortly after we moved in I went to the attic to help my MIL and her sister sort things out. They were going to get it all cleaned out by the end of the first summer. They would pick up an item and say this goes in my pile, etc. Then one of them picked up a piece of string, about an inch long and started a string pile. It killed me! It was that moment I realized nothing would ever be tossed out and they would never get it done. I made an excuse about the dust and walked out. I was so frustrated. That was eight years ago...
ReplyDeleteIt's a small world, huh? My sister got a job in Ventura after college then married and stayed down there. Can't blame her, it's a lot more interesting place than Merced, but we all miss her terribly.
Hugs,
Dawn
All the different shades of white are so pretty. I wish I were as organized as you!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Jane! It must be a real pleasure to work in your studio surrounded by all these lovely items!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing all the shades that white comes in. We lived in Arizona for many years and most homes were built and then the rooms painted in a shade of white. It was always a challenge to choose 'just the right' white.
ReplyDeleteYour whites are lovely!
Di
Oh Jane I too have always enjoyed visiting the White Wednesday participants but have never done so myself...your photos are just beautiful, maybe I'll be brave enough to try myself :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the jars/bottles. You have some wonderful whites. I can't wait to see your studio as well. I am having problems getting good room photos for the post.

Hi Jane!! Your posts always manage to warm my heart with well loved things from the past (quite often). You have such a lovely blog and also such a lovely personality. I appreciate your concern and frequent inquiries about my mother so much. I think we are going to make it! :) It's been a long six weeks, but I can see a bright future for my dear mother. Thanks a million for checking in on her.
