I'm a total sucker for old ironstone platters. Only have three (so far), but I'd have an entire wall of 'em if I could! Yours are stunning and look perfect with the silver. Yummy!
Hey Jane! Stopping in to wish you a wonderful Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Love that old bowl with the wooden pegs AND the chippy shelf they are sitting on. :) Gorgeous photos. Blessings, Tammy
Ummm, all the meals served on those plates and platters. Those ladies would just roll their eyes at you displaying them. Love them, the old ladies and the plates.
I'd love to see a video tour of your home. I just know it's wonderfully full of treasured decor and fabulous vignettes. We get to see snippets of it here, but I'd love to see full rooms.
Jane, I love the way some of your ironstone has aged so beautifully over the years. I'm glad to see that you have allowed some of your silver to "age" as well... it matches some of my unpolished silver! Have a great day! Dee Dee
Oh Jane you better lock up the house, I'm on my way! I covet, covet the ironstone and siver my friend. You have such pretty pieces. I so enjoyed the post of Bruce's event for ALS. It was wonderful to see the picture of you two together. And the one of Bruce and your son. I think of you a lot, and hope all is well with you. It was good to read through your posts today, and see what my friend Jane is up to. hugs
Wonderful ironstone pieces and displayed so beautifully with your silver. I would love walking though your home. I've seen so many vignettes, but put together it must be wonderful and inspiring.
Jane, I enjoy seeing the new pieces you are adding. I'm trying to expand my ironstone group as well as my mother of pearl and silver flatware. Found a few more pieces this week. :-) ~ Sarah
I'm Jane and I'm a junker. In my spare time you will find me shopping for treasures at local flea markets, thrift stores and antique malls or repurposing said treasures into new pieces that I use in my home or give as gifts to family and friends. Somehow the shopping part has overtaken the creating part but I typically have on hand what I need when inspiration hits. I enjoy sharing my projects on my blog and appreciate you stopping by for a visit.
