Happy Wednesday!
I found this old drawer at a junk store recently.
I really liked the keyhole and the front panel but I thought the details would be better highlighted if the drawer was painted.
Luckily we had a pretty nice day over the weekend and I was able to spray paint the drawer Heirloom White.
I liked how it looked but I wanted to make it more useful.
So I dug out these old painted hinge pins.
I drilled six holes in the bottom of the drawer and inserted the pins.
It's now an organizer for my old postcards, cabinet cards and ephemera.
As I looked at the finished project another idea came to mind.
Ribbon storage.
Either way, this is going to get a lot of use!
I'm joining two great Wednesday parties:
White Wednesday with Kathleen @ Faded Charm
and
Wow Us Wednesday with Kim @ Savvy Southern Style
Hope you're having a wonderful week.
