I made a great trade with my Dad last weekend.
Dad has been using this gorgeous old office chair at his home desk for the past few years.
He spends a lot of time at his desk reading, doing the daily crossword puzzle, and keeping my Mom company while she sews.
Well, at 81 years of age, my Dad was finding this wasn't the most comfortable chair.
As luck would have it I had an office chair in my basement that was not being used (sorry, no picture, but just imagine a typical fabric covered office chair. Not pretty, but comfortable).
So we negotiated a friendly trade. Dad got my chair and I got his.
And the great part.......we both feel like we got the best end of the deal!
Look at the old leather on this chair.
Aged to perfection!
I'm linking up with Linda @ Coastal Charm for Nifty Thrifty Tuesday because this trade was both nifty and thrifty!
Happy Tuesday.
Jane

ReplyDeleteFab looking chair and how nice it is that you both feel you got a good result from the trade.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the best kind of deal? Both thinking you got the best of it? The worn leather makes me think of vintage cars with leather upholstry and walnut dash. :) xx
ReplyDeleteThat looks like one solid chair to me! Great trade off Jane!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great trade Jane and the fact that it was your Dad's makes the trade even more special.
