I'm a very late contributor this week to White Wednesday with Kathleen @ Faded Charm.
I don't have anything new to post today but I wanted to help celebrate the 100th White Wednesday so I'm picturing a few of my whites from previous posts.
Congratulations Kathleen on your 100th party!!
And the one most near and dear to me:
As Bruce's disease progresses more of my time is being spent with him and taking care of the household needs. I sneak in some time to read your blogs but unfortunately cannot comment as much as I would like. Creating is a great stress reliever for me so I will still be working on projects and posting......but on a little more limited schedule.
Thanks to all of you for your support.

Jane, the most important thing is family and being there for each other.
ReplyDeletemy heart goes out to you and your family.
Creating is a great stress reliever and you do it so well.
I think blogging can be overwhelming at times and a great outlet for stress at others.
Please take care, my thoughts are with you.
Amy
A virtual hug is being sent your way and very real prayers are being sent up for you and your husband.
ReplyDeleteJane,
ReplyDeletehi sweetie...So nice to see all your past photos. I remember so many of them. Those rulers are stuck in my memory as a favorite of course.
We do what we can in blog land and understand what others cannot do. It's all good. I love to see you and visit as we can, and please know you have my prayers as well.
My Mom was critically ill for over 35 years, so I am quite familiar with the stress and fear that accompanies a family member fighting for quality of life. Creating has been and will continue to be therapeutic for you and we all reap the benefits of your wonderful creations.
Add my hug to Jill's for a super duper squeeze.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about Bruce's disease progressing, Jane. You need to do what you need to do, but I'm glad to read that you are taking time to do something to relieve some of that stress. You've got some lovely whites in these photos. I love that creamer pincushion you made and even your organizing of the different things like the lace and buttons.
ReplyDeleteThis time spent with Bruce is so essential right now and your crafting is an important outlet that will keep your mind grounded...life never gives you more than you can handle - but it certainly tests us, doesn't it?

ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know that your photography skills are stunning, and your pictures are very beautiful. I can tell that you are someone who really is passionate about what you do. You could easily be a photographer for a major home decor magazine.
ReplyDeleteSo many times I have come to your blog for inspiration and as an escape from other worries and concerns. Isn't it comforting to know that we have so many friends in blogland who uplift us, pray for us and support us? I gathered a lot of strength from that during my recent illness/surgery and in my healing. I have been praying for you and Bruce. Please don't worry about visiting....just keep doing what you need to do for yourself and your family. Your readers aren't going anywhere!
