Wooden Wine Box Display Shelf

I've had this wooden wine box for awhile.
My sister gave it to me.  Imagine my surprise when I opened it and realized it was just the box, no wine.
Oh well.....the box was going to come in handy.
I painted, distressed and antiqued it and then turned it on it's side to use as a display shelf.
It's perfect for my collection of Baby Ben alarm clocks.
One more project off my list!

  8. How perfectly did that work out, Jane! I love them all together; it makes for such an interesting display. I love clocks myself and with one in every room already you'd think I'd not buy more, but when I see them, I'm drawn to them.

  19. The repurposed and painted wine box is just perfect for your vintage alarm clock collection. I think your sister knows you well.
I have a few Betsy McCall dolls on my paperdoll page, (under my header). I loved playing with those when I was a kid too. I recall at least one year when my Mom had a subscription, but after that if was difficult to get our hands an American magazines. We lived overseas and mail from the US didn't always arrive.

I also had a great grandmother Mamie. I remember had walking to my Grandmother's (her daughter) in her long dresses and apron. She also wore a bonnet. In the pockets of her apron were bubble gum pieces for us! :) Awww, such wonderful memories! thanks!

  33. Hello friends,

The wooden wine boxes are available in various sizes, depending on the number of bottles to be placed inside each of them. It is available one of the various types of packaging boxes and it is best to protect them from breaking and other possible damages with the help of wooden wine boxes. Thanks a lot..
