I had an opportunity to hit some thrift stores this past week and one of the things I purchased was this old metal and wood miter box for $2.00.
I cleaned it up and then added salt/pepper shakers and a cream and sugar bowl.
I paired it with an old white platter and an antique cutting board for a new counter display in my kitchen.
I think it works well with the other wood and ironstone pieces in my kitchen.
I'm linking tonight with Donna @ Funky Junk Interiors for her Saturday Nite Special party.
There are always a lot of links to her party......lots of great ideas!
