Repurposed Wood Shoe Stretcher

I recently purchased five of these vintage shoe stretchers at a local antique store.
I wanted to make the stretchers more functional so I added a vintage hook to the front.
I screwed a picture hanger on the back.
And then I hung it on the wall.
Perfect for a hat and scarf.
Or just about anything you want to hang.

Have a great evening!

Jane

  17. What a great new use for them! Knowing me, being the klutz I am, I'd have to hang them somewhere where I would not keep walking into them. =) HA!

  26. I like how you can still see the wood part at the top! Seems like it would be useful near my closet - to hang the next day's outfit and jewelry/scarf. Very smart!
