One of my new favorite things to collect.....vintage hangers.
I really can't explain the attraction....I just love how they look!
I want to incorporate the hangers in my bedroom and bath redo. I'm not exactly sure how it is going to look but these are some of the hangers that will go into the display.
I have several of these advertising hangers....they are some of my favorites.
This last hanger is my very favorite (at the moment).
Love this numbered tag on the top.
I haven't made any progress on my bedroom project yet......I'm over thinking the project and just need to settle on a color and get started! I'll keep you posted.

ReplyDelete"playground device company" how fun is that! I like vintage wooden hangers and use them for clothes actually. I also have picked up two vintage-y paper wrapped dry cleaners hangars that are on display in my laundry room. Kelly

ReplyDeleteI know all about over thinking things, and color seems to be the worst for me!
here is a thought:
if it is causing you stress or anxiety to decide on a color, why not just change some simple things for now....and take on the BIG project later.
When the time is better, it will be easier to decide.
lovin' ya' along the way.

What a great collection! I took 2 of my advertising hangers and hung them from simple iron hooks in my bathroom and use them to hang hand towels. I also mounted 3 vintage door knobs with their plates to the wall and use them to hang our bath towels. I love how they look and guests always comment on them. Have fun creating your new look!
ReplyDeleteYou have some very unusual ones in your collection. I have a small collection too, but all wood and they are hard to come by in sunny South Africa. Thanks for sharing such a unique collection! :)
