You've mastered the stem stitch beautifully!! I bought a pattern for redwork pillowcases and have been practicing on kitchen towels to improve my stitching, but I think the problem is that I need reading glasses. O-O
Great project. If you can embroidery too, (which I am not suprprised) You should see one of my pins of an piece that looks like an tree trunk with a heart and initials. I know you could do that one too.
I'm Jane and I'm a junker. In my spare time you will find me shopping for treasures at local flea markets, thrift stores and antique malls or repurposing said treasures into new pieces that I use in my home or give as gifts to family and friends. Somehow the shopping part has overtaken the creating part but I typically have on hand what I need when inspiration hits. I enjoy sharing my projects on my blog and appreciate you stopping by for a visit.
Happy Valentine's day to you, too!
